Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier, just brouse our store and add the items you wish to buy to your "shopping basket". After you have finished making your selections click on checkout. You will be asked a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please include any special delivery instructions in the "notice to us" section or write "n/a" if appropriate: you will not be able to leave this section blank. By clicking the "Accept" button you indicate your agreement to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase, which if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. You will recieve an email confirming we have received your order but this does not indicate acceptance of your offer to purchase. We will accept of your order when we send you an invoice and despatch your goods.
Whilst we take every care in the preparation of this website and goods are described to the best of our knowledge. Goods may not be exactly as shown due to the manufacturers ongoing modifications. All goods are subject to availability (this includes all special offers). Customers of ASK Tools Ltd customers must assume responsibility for the goods being suitable for the purposes required. We accept no liability for losses, damage or injuries howsoever caused by the use of such goods, nor losses due to the unavailability of goods. If we are unable to fulfill the complete order we will contact you to offer alternatives or advise you of expected delivery dates.
Payment
MAIL ORDER - Goods ordered by telephone, fax or through the Online Shop. Payment can be accepted by the following methods:
Cheques made payable to ASK Tools Ltd. Please note that goods paid for by cheque will not be despatched until the payment has cleared.
The following Credit/Debit Cards - Visa, Mastercard, Visa/Delta, Maestro
If paying by Credit/Debit card the following information will be required, please fill in the required feilds on the payment section:
Cardholder name & address
Card Type (Visa/Delta/Maestro etc.) and number
Expiry Date
Issue Number (Maestro only)
3 digit security number (last 3 numbers from signature strip)
Telephone number in case of queries.
Payments will be processed when goods are ready for despatch.
Please include any special delivery instructions in the "notice to us" section or write "n/a" if appropriate you will not be able to leave this section blank
If ordering by fax, email or post the following will also be required
Full description of goods sizes and type
Total amount including carriage (if known)
Orders will only be processed when accompanied by acceptable payment details.
Shipping and handling charges
It is our aim to despatch all orders with 24 hours of receipt, if this is not possible or despatch will be longer than 7 days we will contact you by email.
There is a carriage charge on all orders. All UK orders will clearly show the carriage charge. International orders will be advised of carriage charges prior to despatch of goods after approval has been received.
0-1000g UK Postage rates apply
1kg - 20kg UK Parcel rates or Carrier rates apply (the cheapest method will be used)
0 -1000g £3.50
1kg - 5kg £7.00 small items only
1kg - 20kg £8.50

Please note that surcharges are applicable to the Scotish Highlands and Scottish Isles (£8.00), Northern Ireland (£15.00) Southern Ireland (£20.00).
These rates are subject to change and are to be used as a guide only. The exact charge will be advised before processing your order.
In the event of a parcel being delayed or missing, re-despatch cannot be made until after 14 days from the despatch date of the original parcel.
If your item is out of stock we will back order the item, you will be advised by email with the option to cancel your order if you are unable to wait for stock to become available.
Pricing policy
All prices include VAT @ 17.5% (except books which are zero rated) This rate is subject to change by Government Legislation.
We try to maintain our prices however we reserve the right to change them without notice should it become necessary to do so. If prices are altered we will contact customers for conformation before completing orders unless the price has decreased in which case we will process the order using the lower price.
We are only human and some errors are inevitable, where mistakes have been made we reserve the right to amend price errors at the point of sale.
All goods remain the property of ASK Tools until paid for in full.
Return of goods
In the event of goods arriving damaged or faulty you must contact us preferably by telephone or write to us within 5 days detailing the problem. Carriage charges and insurance of returned goods are at the customers risk and we reserve the right not to compensate for these costs.
Cancellation of orders
All orders can be cancelled prior to despatch. Orders cancelled after despatch will be entitled to a refund of the cost of goods only when the items are returned to ASK Tools Ltd carriage costs will not be refunded for orders cancelled after despatch.
Privacy policy
ASK Tools do not disclose any customer information to third parties other than details that are required to complete the order process. This information will be limited to name, address and telephone information where required for delivery of goods.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of contents of your shopping basket, to store delivery information in the address book if you select the "Remember me option." You can turn off cookies within your brouser by going to Tools? Internet options/ privacy and selecting block cookies. If you turn off cookies you will be unable to place orders and use other features on this site.
Limitation of Liability
Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by negligence of ASK tools.
